When the pandemic broke out, Oskar Stålberg (who was working on another Raw Fury title, Bad north) hit the keys and brought to life one of the most charming titles (we’re definitely #notbiased) to come out this year – City designer!
City designer is more of a toy than a game. Using a grid over a calm sea, each click creates structures large and small seamlessly. By combining buildings, you can build beautiful builders, quiet hamlets or sprawling cathedrals, lighthouses or emerging heavenly cities.
City designer‘s accessible gameplay is easy for everyone to enjoy with its simple controls, no time limit and an underlying algorithm that allows players to intuitively create their dream seaside city with just a few keystrokes.
The uses of City designer Go beyond its original intent as a relaxing, meditative experience. People from the internet use it City designer to create completely new works of art in the most ingenious way! We have a few favorites, but you can find a lot more by searching for #Townscaper on Twitter
To top it off, those with access to a 3D printer will love that you now have the option to export models directly from the game (texture maps and everything) for printing at home! From fan comics, art projects, and even tabletop RPG card generation, City designer finds its home all over the internet and beyond!
the City designer The community has already blown us away with their creations that we shared on Raw Fury Twitter every week for those who tag us in their social post!
What are you still doing when you read this? Grab your controller and start building!

Build quaint island towns with winding roads. Build small hamlets, towering cathedrals, sewer networks or heavenly cities on stilts. Block by block. No goal. Not real gameplay. Just a lot of building and a lot of beauty. That’s it. Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, drop colored blocks of houses onto the irregular grid, and watch as Townscaper’s underlying algorithm automatically turns those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairs, bridges, and lush backyards, depending on your configuration.
