To celebrate the launch, a “Master Piece” was unveiled today at the Saatchi Gallery in London. The painting shows the Master Chief fighting his alien enemy, who inspires those around him to become heroes. The stunning painting by acclaimed artist Iva Troj can be viewed free of charge at the Saatchi Gallery and the world-famous Musée du Louvre in Paris, where a smaller replica can be seen until December 19.
“I was challenged to create work in my own style that typically has a dreamlike and sometimes fantastic quality, but ensures that it is immediately recognizable as a halo,” said artist Iva Troj. “So I’ve spent a long time delving into Halo’s universe, bringing this to life in the old master’s fashion but depicting a modern day battle, and I hope Halo fans and players everywhere enjoy the results – including this one smaller Easter eggs that you might have. “Not noticeable at first glance.”
In addition, Xbox has also participated in other unique activities to celebrate its launch and 20 years of franchise history.
