Did you forget Well, actually we are too. The very cryptic forsaken, however, allows us to remember our fond memories and even risks meeting again. What a life.
It’s been months since the Dutch at Blue Box Studios hadn’t shown the tip of their nose: since the release of an FAQ aimed at putting out the fire of crazy abandoned rumors and death threats in the days that followed, the developers had opted for an equally monastic one like saving silence decided.
“It’s just the beginning of the beginning”
But because nothing in this world can last, the PlayStation Store has just released some information about Abandoned without warning. Those who actually go to the “Games” page (the famous “Realtime Experience” in July) can see this message, which has been present since this Sunday:
Publication of the prologue chapter
We are happy to announce that the Prologue chapter will be released in the first quarter of 2022. We will announce the release date shortly. Stay tuned !
This is a new promise to add to the long list of teasers and other commitments that Blue Box Studios has failed to deliver in the past few months.
Are you ready or not ready
To believe this new meeting, players who still believe in it might discover Abandoned’s prologue before March 31, 2022, which gives the Dutch almost four months to keep their word. Remember, Blue Box Studios isn’t there yet couldn’t finish a game since 2015. All we have left is the description that studio director Hasan Kahraman tried to make of it:
Abandoned is a shooter / survival game. It has some horror elements in it, but it’s not actually a horror game. It’s not what people think it’s not Silent Hill.
With the stars aligned, players can discover the Abandoned Prologue on PS5 through March 31, 2022. But nothing is less certain …
