Character collection in Fortnite explained
With each new Fortnite season comes a new selection of characters – whether they’re original Fortnite creations or pop culture characters. You can find these characters both in the Battle Pass or in a Fortnite match.
The characters that appear on the Fortnite map all have an objective; to act as a seller selling a variety of items or services to play a part of the story.
The Character Collection is a catalog of all the characters that currently appear in the game during this season. All you have to do to add a character to your collection is track them down on the map and talk to them.
It is important to note that some characters in Chapter 3 of Season 1 will not appear in every match, so to find them in all Pokémon styles, you will need to visit certain locations in different matches until they appear.

It’s important to note that a number of these characters will only appear in specific matches – only two of the four characters that can appear in The Joneses will appear in each match – so to find them all you’ll need to visit the same location. in several matches. Character Collection Badge Reward Explained
You will receive a small reward if you complete the character collection in Fortnite, but this will not grant you any Battle Pass XP.
Instead, you get a badge in your Legacy catalog, which can be viewed from the Careers tab in the main game hub. You can scroll through your Fortnite career from the start of Chapter 2 if you’re a long-time player.
