The 2021 Game Awards ceremony is full of surprises, but the sequel to Star Warrior must be among the best.Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Sabre Interactive revealed Warhammer 40,000: Star Warrior 2.
Space Marine 2 is a sequel to Sega and a cult classic third-person action shooter from Relic. Although neither of them returned to the sequel, this is a continuation of that story. Titus, the captain of Ultimate Warrior, is back, and Tyranids are the main threat this time.
Unfortunately, Mark Strong did not replay his role. Instead, Titus will be played by Clive Steinden of the Vikings. At this point, little is known about the story of Star Warrior 2, and the trailer is as ostentatious as you would expect from the game about the Astarte in the Warhammer 40,000 game.
The good news is that in the end, we only got a small part of the gameplay, showing some devastating abilities and some shooting moves. Thanks to a decade of technological progress, it looks chaotic and violent as always.
Publisher Focus says this is its largest investment in history, and Sabre calls it the “most impressive” project to date.
Warhammer 40,000: Star Warrior 2 is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S-although it has not yet released a target.
