A new game week is dawning and once again has some exciting PC releases in the luggage! We have selected the most exciting new releases on Steam, Epic and Co. for you to look forward to from December 13th to 17th 2021 you can look forward to. Nothing for you yet? Final Fantasy 7 Remake – Conclusion video for the RPG reissue

One of the highlights of the week is without a doubt the roleplaying force of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The game has been on PS4 and PS5 since 2020, but now it’s also coming to PC. Whether you are a Final Fantasy veteran or a complete newcomer, the role-playing game convinces with a tremendous production quality, terrific fights, a loving implementation of the template and a gripping story.

However, this is “only” the first chapter of the saga. There is no release date for the second chapter yet – but you can spend 80 hours with the current part.

If, on the other hand, you are still looking for new building strategy food, then this week Cubifactorium is your game. That leaves the Early Access and celebrates its full release on Steam. If you are already familiar with the complex simulation Factorio, then you know roughly what to expect here: colonizing different biomes, running agriculture and manufacturing and maintaining complicated machines and goods cycles. The game was already able to develop into a popular insider tip in Early Access and some exciting mods from the community can be found in the Steam Workshop.

Incidentally, our assembly expert Fabiano would like to see a jolt in the genre, which has rested very much on familiar patterns over the last year. He already has some ideas:

From Monday, December 13th

  • Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon: Offshoot of the popular Dungeon Crawler with block puzzles and both single player and versus mode for two players

From Tuesday, December 14th

  • Noble Fates: Colonization simulation in the Middle Ages, in which you build, craft and defend your fortresses (Early Access)

From Wednesday December 15th

  • Eternal Night: Highlight for Metroidvania fans – dark platformer in a chic hand-drawn style
  • Clid The Snail: Dark top-down shooter in which you play an armed snail. It’s best to take a look yourself.

From Thursday, December 16

  • Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach: Continuation of the popular horror series with insane animatronics, this time with survival and stealth mechanics
  • Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo: Thriller adventure based on the universe of horror writer Alfred Hitchcock
  • The Gunk: Action-adventure on an absurd alien planet that you have to save from the slimy monster “The Gunk”
  • Island: Pocket Planet: Farm simulation on a tiny planet where you build, fish and make new friends

From Friday December 17th

  • Sky Fleet: Action RTS in which you defend your floating islands against drones
