Also this year there is of course a seasonally appropriate, winter event in the long-running Fortnite. We’ll tell you what to expect here.
Epic Games has announced the comeback of the Winter Festival in Fortnite. The festivities that match the season started on December 16 at 3:00 p.m. and will last through the holidays until January 6 at 3:00 p.m. In the course of the campaign you can secure a total of 14 free gifts, including two outfits. The item shop also has the new outfits “Spider-Man (No Way Home)” and “MJ (No Way Home)”.
Every day for the next two weeks Sgt. Winter will unwrap a new present in the Winterfest Lodge, including the outfits Chrisabelle and Winter-Schali. In addition to the two outfits, the gifts will include two pickaxes, two paintwork, lobby music and a hang glider, contrail, emote, loading screen, emoticon, spray motif and banner. All gifts can be opened until the end of the Winter Festival on January 6th, even if a single day has been missed.
There are also new winter tasks every day, which can be viewed on the tasks page in the game. In addition to EP, you can also secure other rewards. After successfully completing seven orders, the hang glider beckons “Snow Mano Board” and the back accessory “Ice Lama” for all ten.
There are also suitable actions in creative mode, which can now be found in the Winterfest tab. Everyone who has played on Creators cards for at least two hours will receive the “Old Knacker” emoticon, the “Llama Reindeer” spray, an Advent agitator banner and a New Year 2022 banner.
