After a five-year development cycle, Yacht Club Games has finally finished Shvel Knight: Treasure Tuff. That does not mean that we are made in a completely indie fashion sense. In fact, it has already been announced Shovel Knight Dig – a joint project with the talented team at Nitrome (known for such topics as Bomber Bomb).
During a recent look at Nintendo Power Podcast, Treasure Trove artist Sandy Gordon explained how the band will be able to continue making games that fulfill the indie hero for the longest time. Treasure Trove director Sean Velasco added to this, saying they would agree will never stop making games about character:
We will continue to do the Sky Knight things forever and ever
So, here it is – Shvel Knight is here to stay. It makes us doubt that the Yacht Club may be planning for the future. Aside from Skyvel Knight Dig, the only other game that we know you're connected to is the 8-bit ninja platformer The cyber shadow By Mechan Head Studios.
