A new trailer for live action Unexplored The movie was released today and we finally got a good look at Mark Wahlberg wearing his famous Sully mustache and … it doesn’t look good.
The first half of the new trailer is a rehash of the earlier teaser trailer, with a new clip of Tom Holland doing the fancy Jackie Chan stunts down a few fancy lights in a swanky art exhibition, and arguably better than a video game Nathan Drake might hope to try. Only in the second half of the trailer does it stop recreating itself Unexplored Video game moments and show you some original concepts and give us a glimpse into Wahlberg’s dressing Victor Sullivan‘s iconic’ stache.
Among the new cinematics is a scene in which treasure-laden pirate ships are blown into the air by helicopters while various groups jump back and forth and fight for the loot. It looks sick as hell and in keeping with Naughty Dog’s signature, impressive action sequences. But what looks sick in the more negative sense of the word is the condition of Marky Mark’s mustache at the end of the trailer.
In the final moments of the trailer, Drake sits at a table trying to negotiate a deal with other treasure hunters. Of course, the chances of a successful parlay seem to decrease. Fortunately, Sully appears from a doorway, armed with his halter holster and a revolver. Rather than being grateful for his surrogate father’s appearance, Drake correctly appeals to Sully about how ridiculous his mustache makes him look while he is still in puberty. Boo that man.

Wahlberg’s mustache doesn’t make him look anything like that Unexplored‘s cigar lover, but more like a Wish.com version of Tom Selleck in Magnum, PI The consensus under the eyes of an eagle Unexplored Connoisseurs here at Kotaku is that Wahlberg’s mustached appearance will most likely be in a post-credit scene as none of the previous promotional materials or clips show him wearing it. Plus, the clip is simple feels like something and Unexplored Film would be included as a post-credit scene to get a pop-out video game fanatic who sat through the entire film and its credits, wondering why Sully didn’t have a mustache.
If Wahlberg could only have found a crumb catcher with a little more gravitas, like Stephen Lang in the Fan film 2018. Well, at least there is still a little time left to whack it with CG before it releases.
Unexplored hits cinemas exclusively on February 18th.
