Two different movements, the same goal: to be protectionist. Intel has reportedly given up on attending CES 2022 and removed its booth and many of its workers to protect them from the new wave of infections, while Intel’s graphics director has released surprising statements.

Intel’s assault withdrawal is not due but to seeing what is happening in Europe and what is starting in the USA, the reality is that until the end of 4 days, there is no more or less reliable result which normally coincides with the symptoms.

First of all, it makes sure that the graphics cards have completed the beta phase, where a few days later partners have already started receiving samples and these are actively tested.

Intel will launch 2 GPU lines for mining
Although he did not say it directly, Koduri knows that TSMC is not having its best time in terms of production and although it is making efforts in creating new FOBs to increase production, this process takes years. So, in order not to collapse the gaming GPU market and let miners buy all the units, Intel has already defined a strategy for this: two different GPU lines since its inception.
Raja Koduri pointed out that mining is not the primary focus of Intel GPUs, so they will develop two mining related hardware solutions that are completely independent of gaming GPUs. Hence the earlier statements of ‘a month ago that Intel wouldn’t restrict mining.
Therefore, there will be two more lines that Intel already showed at the time and they will be mining specific, like NVIDIA did with the CMP HX, but starting at zero minute, so if all goes As it should be, the GPU Gaming stock should not be undermined by cryptocurrencies and their mining.
