Originally planned for February 26 in Japan, Dragon Quest X Offline has been postponed by Square Enix until the second quarter of 2022. This news was released due to the high volume of content to be adapted from the game. A definitive date will be shared in the near future.
Dragon Quest X Offline It was revealed last May during a special broadcast celebrating 35 years of the franchise. In this same, Square Enix announced several projects of the franchise, among them said version of DQX It does not require an internet connection.
The MMO Dragon Quest X It was released in 2012 for Wii, followed by versions for Wii U, mobiles, 3DS, and currently available in its ‘Version 5’ for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. None of these editions have come out of Japan.
For its 10th anniversary, Square Enix will release ‘Version 6’ of Dragon Quest X in Japan and possibly has other ideas for the West. Plans for a version have been around for three years offline which would be the one chosen outside of Japan.
Dragon Quest X Offline is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. At the moment there are no launch words in the West.
