Well, the first representative of this form factor already has benchmarks, especially those of the i5-1250P. Are the new CPUs competitive for this new type of notebook?

Competition between Intel and AMD in laptops is fierce, but it works differently than in conventional tower PCs. The difference is that the CPU is not sold to the end user, but to the manufacturer or assembler of the laptop who will assemble a computer from the specifications given by one of the two processor manufacturers.

It’s not just about having the most powerful processor, but also the one that allows for lighter, thinner form factors to grab the attention of the average shopper. This requires processors designed to operate with a different TDP than usual in laptops, the i5-1250P is one of those processors.
