Genshin Impact developer myHoYo has released a new character preview for Shenhe, the upcoming playable character game to join the roster after the Version 2.4 update, “Fleeting Iridescence,” ahead of its current release. In short, Shenhe has lived in the mountains and studied with an adept, which gave him quite a unique upbringing that should be interesting to watch.
In addition to the trailer, which you can check out below, Shenhe has been revealed to be a Polearm user tuned in to Cryo. She is voiced by Chelsea Kwoka in English and Ayako Kawasumi in Japanese. In general, his abilities play with area-of-effect cryogenic damage in large part with his great, Divine Maiden’s Release, which unleashes the talisman’s spirit to roam through the area-of-effect cryogenic damage before creating an area where Cryo and physical resistances are lowered for opponents while still dealing cryo damage from time to time.
As noted above, the next Genshin Impact version 2.4 update, “Iridescence Fugazt,” will be released on January 5, bringing new characters, missions, rewards, and more. That includes, but is not limited to, the addition of Shenhe. The latest update for Genshin Impact, Version 2.3, “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms” is currently available. Genshin Impact itself is currently available, free of charge, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. The game will also eventually release for the Nintendo Switch.
