The creator of the SaGa series, Akitoshi Kawazu, hints at a possible remaster, remake and new game.
In a recent tweet, Square Enix executive Akitoshi Kawazu thanked SaGa players for their support in 2021 and gave an outlook on 2022.

The first SaGa game was called The Final Fantasy Legend in the West and was known in Japan as Makai Toushi SaGa. Since then, more than 15 SaGa games have been released.
