We find ourselves firmly within a new product each year – and a decade of new product, of course – but one thing has continued in the same way: The switchch at the Shop is well stocked with exciting games to play and enjoy.
The awards aim to celebrate the best of Nintendo's digital store, by giving love and attention to games that could easily be missed by the ever-expanding switchch library.
So, let's get started! Here are the game changer games in the best Shop of January 2020!
Honor Tips:
While these topics may not be in the top three this month, you should still check them out.
Publisher: Annapurna Interactive / Developer: Cardboard Computer
Third place this month Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition. We actually gave this powerful 9/10 to our review, praising it for its beautiful writing, great characters, and excellent art and animation. Each action in this click and click brings new places and people to build deeper connections, and, by the end of your journey, you'll be making friends and memories that will last you much longer than you might expect.
Publisher: X.D. Network / Developer: Free games
In the second place is To the Moon, fun and engaging interactive stories that are well worth your time. The game deals with issues and situations that we may all encounter in our lives, doing it in such a way that the Nintendo Life team couldn't help but love it.
To The Moon is actually another article to find 9/10 interesting for us; we noted that the play was written with a level of conviction and honesty that gave its most important moments a real impact. It's worth a look if you're surprised.
Publisher: Hi Bit Studios / Developer: Hi Bit Studios
We quietly sit at the top of our list of the most popular Switch games this month, though 198X. With beautiful 2D art style, amazing sound style, and more besides, this love letter to the & # 39; 80s & # 39; 90s & 90s games is a complete winner. On the short side – we've been blowing through it for about an hour – but this is way more value than quality we couldn't recommend enough.
We gave this one an 8/10, loving the fact that it "celebrates 2D games, illegally played and wraps it with some of the greatest hand drawn art we've seen in years".
Nintendo Life at the Shop Choices – December 2019
How do we determine our top three choices: As we reach the end of each month, Nintendo Life staff vote on their favorite titles from the list of games chosen by the editorial team. To be eligible for this list, these games should have been released primarily as a digital title for the Nintendo switchch in the Shop during that particular month, and should have been updated on Nintendo Life; we select the most appropriate games based on their review scores.
Employees were asked to vote for three games they thought fit to stay right on that list; The first choice gets 3 points, the second choice gets 2 points, and the third picks one point. These votes are then generated to list the top three, with each winner receiving the top prize of the month.
