As many of you know, Halo Infinite was the game that got us Xbox fans the most this year. Over the past few months we have had at our disposal a set of game modes in its free multiplayer, which has thrilled old and new fans alike.
While we appreciate all the content 343 Industries has added right now, there will always be someone who needs help and struggles to win. Therefore, today I come to tell you all the tips that have been very useful to me since the moment I decided to join this multiplayer arena. So without further ado, let’s go!
1. Train at the shooting range
When I first entered PVP, I have to say that I struggled to adjust to the handling and recoil of each of the available weapons. Of course, when a new game is launched you have to adapt to its playable patterns that have been established, but since 343 they have been thinking about it and that is why we have the shooting range at our disposal.
A place where we can train with all the existing weapons while meeting all the challenges that are offered to us. When we gain proficiency in all established difficulty settings, you will know in advance that you are ready to take on any other user.
2. Test your skills against bots
When you feel ready to hit the pitch, you can continue training against bots by making practice mode games. As we learn their combat patterns, we may increase the difficulty so that we have a greater challenge ahead of us.
What do we get out of all of this? Very simple. When the enemies controlled by the machine do more damage to us, we will be forced to change tactics and, for example, try to shoot more shots in the head.
3. You will never hit those bullets you don’t shoot
In every shootout that we are going to start, there will always be enemies that will make things difficult for us. If we try to flee our death is guaranteed. It doesn’t matter how good you are, because if we stand up to them there will always be a high probability that we will critically damage them or even win the showdown.
But be careful, not everything is spent in the magazines of our weapons. Because we also have at our disposal the launching of grenades against those who position themselves in a specific place or carry out melee attacks. The latter option is undoubtedly very effective, because when we have dealt damage to an enemy or find ourselves looking in another direction, we can end it so that we do not need to expose our position.
It is important to remember the pattern on which 99% of clashes are based: Grenade, shooting and melee. It’s like a starter, lunch and dessert, but depending on the moment, the weapon we carry and where we are will start with one or the other. However, don’t forget, it’s the triangle that dominates the multi in Halo Infinite.
4. Don’t be afraid to change control patterns
For several years that I have participated in the online mode of its various deliveries, I have had the opportunity to put myself in control of all the control schemes that have been developed by default.
It is true that starting to play is very useful and intuitive, but over time you could surely adapt, for example, by replacing the melee strike button with a more accessible one. Hence, this is one of the tips I recommend the most when venturing into this competitive facet.
What is the best of all the combinations available? Well in that regard I have to say that they all work very well and there is none that is more beneficial. In this regard, I urge you to go to the configuration section and try them out according to your desired accessibility needs.
5. You can’t, with allies, yes
In every shooter I’ve played I’ve always found doing it with friends more fun and Halo Infinite is no exception. With all the advice my colleagues have given me over the years, I have been able to improve my skills in terms of movement and precision. You never start out by being the best, that’s for sure, but it never hurts to get together with someone who is more experienced than you and enjoy it.
Don’t have anyone to play with? This is not a problem. On the server Discord Generation Xbox, you can find a plethora of active users who are ready to play with you. This initiative was created as a space to talk and play with other fans and, therefore, currently serves as an example that no Spartan fights alone.
6. Adjust settings and remove unnecessary options
Just a few days ago, we released a simple yet great way to improve Multi Halo Infinite by tweaking three settings. Increasing the field of view and disabling the “Skip” and “Automatically climb” options will serve to dramatically improve your experience. See how in our previous article.
Did any of these tips help you? Remember, Halo Infinite is available in all its glory for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, and Cloud Gaming.
