Although not much is officially known about Itsuno’s next project after Devil May Cry 5, rumors and leaks suggest that it will be Dragon’s Dogma 2. A sequel was mentioned in the infamous Capcom leak from 2020 and the insider AestheticGamer, known for its leaks on Resident Evil Village, reported that it would be developed “100 percent” on the RE Engine.
