Alright, gang, let’s do this one more time. Polls are officially open for the 2021 Players’ Choice final poll! You’d be forgiven for assuming December was a quieter month, but we’ve been honored with the release of long-awaited titles like Among Us, Solar Ash, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, and more.
We’ll close the polls at 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, January 9, so vote before that date.
Welcome to 2022!
How it works? At the end of each month, iGamesNews will open a poll where you can vote for the best new game released this month. Soon after, we’ll close the polls, count your votes, and announce the winner on iGamesNews. The PlayStation Store will also feature some of the top Player’s Choice winners throughout the year.
What are the voting criteria? It’s up to you! If you could only recommend one new version to a friend this month, which one would it be? In keeping with our long tradition of Game of the Year awards, remastered or re-released games will not be eligible. Ambitious, larger-scale reconstructions and remakes like Demon’s Souls and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will.
How are the nominees decided? The editorial teams at iGamesNews and PlayStation Store will put together a list of the month’s most notable releases and use it to launch the survey. Written votes will be accepted.
