Today there were several news about NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service: This is coming to other platforms and will also have more Battlefield content in the future.
NVIDIA announced today that it is expanding its partnership with publisher Electronic Arts. As part of this, the Premium Edition of Battlefield 4 and the Definitive Edition of Battlefield 5 will also be represented on GeForce NOW in the future; You will be able to enjoy both shooters via the service via streaming and without installing game files.
But that’s not all, because GeForce NOW should also enrich other platforms. After a corresponding app for LG’s webOS Smart TVs had already been made available from 2021, Samsung is now following suit. The Koreans’ Smart TVs will also receive an app from the second quarter of 2022 and will then support GeForce NOW natively.
GeForce NOW should also come to mobile devices this month – at least in the USA. There they announced a deal with AT&T for end customers with a 5G end device including a tariff with unlimited data volume. Users with this mobile operator receive a six-month priority membership at no additional cost.
Separated from GeForce NOW, 10 additional titles were announced that will support ray tracing on the PC in the future. These include, for example, The Day Before, Escape from Tarkov and Rainbow Six Extraction.
