Released almost a month ago, Halo infinite is the newest part of the franchise developed by 343 Industries. Unfortunately, the studio in the person of Aaron Linde has just suffered a loss. So he confirmed his departure on New Year’s Eve by posting a text on his Twitter account:
Bittersweet news to announce: I am leaving 343 Industries for another opportunity in 2022. It was a terribly difficult decision; Halo Infinite will forever be one of the proudest things of my career.
I’d like to thank my dear colleagues at 343 for making the best game I’ve ever worked on, our great vocal cast for highlighting our work on each of their lines, and our players for letting us know on this one wild journey. You made 2021 an incredibly special year for me.
As a reminder: Aaron Linde officiates on Halo infinite as the lead narrator. In other words, he was responsible for leading a small team of writers responsible for the narrative content of the open world: side missions, dialogues from enemies and marines, audiologs, etc. Linde now works as a senior narrative writer at Riot Games.
