Doomguy is a cool dude who kills demons and does it while running faster than most Olympic athletes. Isabelle is a happy little dog and very helpful and kind. These two very different game characters have become great friends, according to many artists online. And I love it.
The practice of comparing Doomguy with Isabelle began last year, back when Doom Eternal was delayed. Originally, Doom Eternal was scheduled to come out in November, but October was delayed until March 20, 2020. This just happened to be the same day the new Animal Crossing game launched on the switch.
Soon, people started creating and commissioning works of art based on this complex relationship. You can find a thread on ResetEra combining some of the finest pieces of art work involving the two thousand. You can also search Twiter and find great fan art associated with these two.
There is something positive about this couple. Doomguy is sometimes a cold, heartless machine. So to see him help teach Isabelle to shoot a BFG is fun. She feels like a person and makes her look like a lovely person.
For Isabelle, she finds hanging out with a non-annoying animal obsessed with cities and money. You get a break, a nice holiday. He also uses a large rifle to shoot things, which sounds fun and probably will help him relieve some pressure.
Unfortunately, the two friends spend a lot of time together which means that by 2020 they should start a podcast. Fortunately, someone has launched a little bit of that podcast for us to listen to and enjoy.
I listened to a lot. At least they don't make a true crime show.
The internet can be a scary place. You are currently in it. So whenever I see a tendency to be happy, happy, positive or good like this, I appreciate it. And now all I have to do is wait until March to be able to kill some demons and build a beautiful little home.
