Here’s a closer look at the tribes in Horizon Forbidden West

in this new video Horizon Forbidden West, let’s take a look at some of the tribes that Aloy will encounter.

In it, you’ll get a closer look at the people living on the frontier and their lands and customs.

Some tribes will be unfamiliar to Aloy, while others will be familiar. There are Carja and Oseram with settlements on the frontier, there are the withered fields of Song of the Plains that Utaru calls home, and then the war-torn clan lands of Tenakth. New alliances will emerge in these lands, but you can also expect to meet deadly enemies.

The video doesn’t reveal all the secrets of the tribes shown, as you’ll have to explore the land yourself and encounter them to learn more.

Launching February 18 for PS4 and PS5, Horizon Forbidden West will feature a new storyline, new and sometimes larger robo-fauna like the armadillo-shaped Rollerback, the flying Sunwing and the serpentine Slitherfang, and more as you travel across a mysterious new frontier from Utah, USA to the Pacific Ocean on the west coast.

You can expect a more beautiful and vibrant world than Horizon Zero Dawn, and the game barely has a loading screen. The in-game map is a bit bigger than the first outing, and there will be lakes and rivers to swim in. There is also the red blight that affects the region, suffocating plants, animals and starving tribes. Weather can be quite unpredictable, and supercell storms can form, flooding savannahs and fields.

Announced during the PS5 showcase in June 2020, Horizon Forbidden West was originally planned for release last year before moving to February 2022.
