While Final Fantasy VII remake contains an updated version of the original game infamous crossdressing scene, there is no way to play as Cloud in a dress while playing the game. Or at least not an official way. Thankfully, PC gamers who want Cloud to keep rocking its feminine side have options such as this PC mod from Nexus Mods, which gives our golden boy a flowing dress, beautiful curls and a cute tiara. Hunter tweeted several pictures of Cloud in different clothes, including a sexy red and black, a princess-like pink and a short blue one. As you can imagine, the tweet exploded for all the right reasons and I’m in love.
You see, Cloud was a beautiful boy. His facial features, his perfectly oval face and his pointed jaw, plus his great hair and his fascinating Mako eyes, make him a sight for sore eyes. Or any eyes, let’s face it. But these mods – one of which is called Cosplay cloudwho have favourited our mercenary disguised as Bowsette or Bootette– Turn him into a hot femboy.
As you can see, Cloud is incredibly hot in the images above. His makeup is perfect, the clothes are eye-catching, and everything seems to go well together. People love how adorable Cloud looks in these getups, and if I’m being honest here, I splash on my mouth for how he looks. He’s gorgeous honey! I may be married, but I’m also bisexual, and I would completely ditch my partner for Cloud if he were real, dressed or not. (Please don’t tell my partner, she might be mad. Hello baby, I love you! Don’t leave me.)
We asked Suzi Hunter for a comment and will update it if we hear anything.
The image of Cloud in a dress has always been controversial since players first saw the original Final Fantasy VII‘s crossdressing scene in 1997. While NPCs in the game are never openly hostile to Cloud, some members of the community have found it uncomfortable to see their stoic hero in feminine clothes, even if he reluctantly wore them. While it could be perceived as a “joke” that hits men who don’t meet rigid gender expectations, I’ve always found it progressive, an allusion to the real drag community and effeminate boys like me who kind of like women’s clothing.

So yeah, cloud is hot. And he’s even hotter in a dress. Who knew Do you know what is not hot? This Sephiroth mod that turns him into Ronald McDonald. I’ll likely have nightmares about being with “One-winged Angel” Playing in the background while a McRib descends on my consciousness.
