The point of the card game one consists of putting cards in hand one at a time, matching the color or number of the card previously played. In Mattel’s new version of the classic game Uno All Wild, you don’t have to worry about numbers or colors, because every single card is a wild card.
Now available for six dollars at Mattel.com, Uno All Wild is a real game and not a sick joke. As with regular one, Players are given a hand from a deck of 112 cards. The players then take turns playing cards from their hand until someone gets rid of all of their cards. Since all the cards in the deck are wild, you don’t have to worry about matching suits or numbers. Everyone should be able to play one card each round.
While this makes a much easier and probably faster game, cards with special abilities can slow things down. There are skip and double skip cards, which cause players to miss a move, and reverse cards to change the order of play. There are not only their “Draw 2” cards, but also specific “Draw 2” cards with which the player can choose which of his opponents has to expand his hand. Finally, there is a hand swap card that, when played, forces two players to swap their entire hand.
Confused? YouTuber Bowers play area has published a video tutorial on how to play.
Is it one? Not really. one is all about matching cards, and there is no card comparison here. However, there is the shouting of the word “Uno!”. when you only have one card left, which is always fun. That, plus a seemingly fast-paced game that doesn’t require a lot of thought, perfect for those who find the complexity of a card game ages seven and up too much.
