Before the new year, we saw call of duty warzone A considerable overhaul; new maps have been added to the title, new mechanics have been added to the game, and we’ve also completed a new big battle pass.
The game has had some pressing issues since the update rolled out. In addition to the geeky winter horror Krampus, we’ve also seen Awoken Francis skins wreak havoc on Caldera and Rebirth Island (much to the chagrin of serious and casual players alike).
The current state of the game is that players with the Awakening skin equipped are just a floating orange head in the game. Of course, you need to be level 100 in the Caldera battle pass to equip it, but once you’re there, players feel like they’re good, a lot of Harder to see on the map due to glitches.
As of this writing, this issue is still not listed on Warzone Trello. This question got some attention on the Warzone Subreddit. One annoyed player evilmonk234 asked: “How can Raven keep skins invisible for more than a day?”
Fans on Twitter were equally outraged, in response to the developer’s official tweet asking for a fix for the “pay to win” skin. A cursory look at any official CoD account and its tweets will see irritated players in the replies.
Given that we’ve been seeing players express concerns about skins since December 15th, it’s only fair that players are annoyed — after all, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Raven and Warzone suffer from invisibility bugs. Not very far.
Given that Activision recently made such a song and dance for Call of Duty Warzone’s long-awaited bounce anti-cheat, this new glitch gets even more annoying if you just want to have a good, honest game CoD.
Currently, there is no official update from the developers regarding this bug, or when it might be fixed.
Activision Blizzard, the publisher of Call of Duty: Warzone, is currently in the middle of a sexual harassment lawsuit filed in California. Workers have tried unionizing efforts despite an executive at the company trying to block those efforts due to problems the company found.
