The Samsung Galaxy S22 will have the Exynos 2200 in time, Samsung confirms that there are no problems

The latest Samsung processor suffers a delay compared to the plans that the company had with it: despite its presentation scheduled for Monday, January 11, the Exynos 2200 has not been discovered. Even so, this delay will not affect the Samsung Galaxy S22: the company has confirmed that the launch of the new phones will take place on time.

The usual thing with every key mobile version is that Samsung reveals its main components a few days before the presentation

. Every time there is a new Galaxy S family, it is preceded by new memory or storage, a new ISOCELL sensor and a new Exynos processor. All three don’t have to happen, but the SoC doesn’t miss the date. And of course, it only needs to be delayed for the rumors to explode.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 will launch the Exynos 2200 in time

The launch of the Exynos 2200 was scheduled for yesterday January 10, as specified by Samsung and a tweet

last December 31. This tweet was deleted by the company without giving an explanation for the cancellation of the event. We don’t know if Samsung is having manufacturing issues, logistics issues, or other causes.

According to Dohyun Kim, a well-known Korean leaker, the delay in the presentation of the new Exynos would affect the production of the Samsung Galaxy S22; which would lead to the distribution of the first mobiles only with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant, even in European territory (Samsung reserves Snapdragon models for certain markets, such as the United States). The information has been officially denied by the company.

As Samsung spokespersons in South Korea clarified:

Samsung hasn’t explained why it didn’t finally introduce the Exynos 2200, or say when it will finally unveil it. What seems certain is that the usual strategy remains: Samsung Galaxy S22 will launch the Exynos 2200 in most territories, surely also in Europe.
