It’s been 15 years since the guns of the Great War finally fell silent. The conflict shook the world, leaving half a generation of men and women dead on the battlefield. Of the many players who have performed on the world stage, only two remain: the Kingdom of Cirinthia and the ancient Republic of Tariq.

Over time, Dimitri Noraskov, a hero of the defeated kingdom of Arkadya, rises from the ashes. He considered his king a coward for surrendering and a traitor for submitting to the Treaty of Evenheart. People too. They supported Noraskov when he overthrew the king. They supported him as he recovered the lands taken from them. And they supported him as he raised an army. Noraskov had speculated that the nations of the world were still too exhausted from the Great War to be able to enforce the terms of the treaty.

So far his tactic has been successful. The Arkadyan Empire shows no signs of slowing down in its aggression. Many fear that a repeat of the Great War, which could have been avoided, is now almost inevitable. But there are those who believe he can still be stopped. Rise of the Third Power is a love letter to the glory days of console-style RPGs, with modern conveniences like autosave and a mix of the best Japanese and Western-style writing and gameplay elements. carried by history join a party of eight characters, each with their own ambitions, perspectives, and personalities unique as they embark on a suicide mission to overthrow Emperor Arkadyan, Dimitri Noraskov. A mix of humor, drama, and tragedy awaits players as they navigate the treacherous world of Rin.

Against the backdrop of political intrigue, as Rin’s world recovers from the Great War, the balance of power remains severely skewed, with power vacuums still waiting to be filled. ANDThe player’s party will be harassed and aided by schemers, liars and traitors, as time passes through a repeat of the greatest war in human history.

Rise of the Third Estate features eight playable characters in a combat system built from the ground up, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses, all of which are meant to engage in battle simultaneously without the need for tedious party management. Combine each character’s unique powers and debuffs, analyze your enemies’ abilities, define your formation, and charge into battle.

Each piece of gear found, purchased, or stolen is a unique, permanent upgrade for each character. Instead of buying replacements, the player buys upgrades. No more spending money on that precious helmet in town to stumble upon a much better treasure in a dungeon. Each character has three equipment slots with 8 upgrades each, with 192 to find in total. This system takes the hassle out of managing inventory, while giving the finalist something useful to hunt for.
