Guerrilla Games and PlayStation today revealed a new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West. Over the past few weeks, a number of new trailers for the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel have started to surface, giving us a better idea of ​​what the game will have in store. Rather than show off new gameplay in today’s latest video, however, Guerrilla Games opted to give fans a glimpse of what Horizon Forbidden West’s narrative will have to offer.

In its entirety, the new Horizon Forbidden West story trailer features a number of scenes that will appear in the title. It also better explains Aloy’s goal in the game, which is to travel to the titular Forbidden West in search of rectifying a problem that has arisen within her home. During her adventure, many of Aloy’s companions from Horizon Zero Dawn will return, but Forbidden West will also introduce a number of new characters.

Speaking more about the new faces to be seen in Horizon Forbidden West, Guerrilla Games Narrative Director Ben McCraw spoke a bit more about this. In an article that appeared in the playstation blog, McCraw poked fun at some of these characters and other dangers Aloy will encounter this time around. “The next chapter of Aloy’s story begins on February 18 and she will face a storm of new threats: a plague that will end the world, Regalla and her rebels, Sylens and her machinations…plus many new dangers yet to be seen. have been revealed. As McCraw mentioned, Horizon Forbidden West is finally coming next month, on February 18. And while it will be most prominently available on PlayStation 5, it will also be coming to PlayStation 4.
