The Renegade project is one of the most ambitious projects of 2022, and the year has only just begun. The developers of this project successfully loaded Windows 11 on a good number of devices, mobiles as popular as the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7, Google Pixel 3, Xiaomi Mi 9 and even the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.

Windows 11 on dozens of mobiles, if you’re brave
Project Renegade is a development project in which has been completed bootear Windows 11 on a large number of Android devices. This, yes, the process is not in anyone’s hands. First, you need a firmware personalized. The developers recommend creating a Tianocore EDK II image above the boot loader from our mobile. They also make it easy to access precompiled binaries in their corresponding GitHub repository.
The process is not easy: you have to compile the firmware to start Windows on the Android bootloader and perform a completely manual installation.
Installed on firmware, Windows version for ARM64 is downloaded from UUP Dump, the installer is prepared manually and voila, after applying the package in this pre-installation environment, the mobile boots into Windows 11. As you can see it, It’s quite a complex process. which requires some development knowledge, goes beyond installing a simple ROM from the recovery or the way Quick Start.
