In 2022, Ubisoft will continue to work on the long-standing action game For Honor: There will be a new pirate heroine in the game in January.
From January 27, 2022, the title update 2.0 for For Honor should be available and herald Year 5 Season 4. A new playable hero archetype is introduced: the pirates. Armed with iconic cutlasses and pistols, these are said to represent the first migratory birds of an all-new band of heroes coming from far-flung horizons. Other protagonists will then be added in Year 6: Lost Horizons, which begins on March 17, 2022.
The pirates have targeted Heathmoor after a series of dramatic climate changes have taken their toll on their home archipelago. The water is the only home they know, and no ship, port or warrior is safe from their ferocity. Bold and fierce fighters, they have developed their own fighting style, taking on enemies from across the seas. Armed with their razor-sharp cutlass and unique pistol, they attack their opponents. They apply continuous pressure by combining the pistol with heavy attacks that stack up.
The new pirate heroine is available on the specified date at a price of 7.99 dollars; she is part of a bundle that includes the heroine herself, an exclusive ornament, an elite outfit, 7 days of champion status, and three leftover chests. From February 10th, the package will also be available for 15,000 Steel.
Along with the heroine, you’ll also find a new free event pass that will offer exclusive rewards. Last but not least, new seasonal armor variants are also planned.
The mentioned Year 6 will initially offer two new migratory bird heroes, additional customization options as well as further improvements to the combat experience; it remains to be seen what will happen next.
