Some former Activision Blizzard executives have teamed up to found the new publishing company New Tales.
Some former Activision Blizzard executives responsible for operations in Europe have joined forces and formed a new publishing company, New Tales.
Based in Paris, the company will be led by Chief Executive Officer Cédric Maréchal, formerly Activision Blizzard’s senior VP of International.
He will be joined by other Activision Blizzard veterans including former VP of International Business Operations Benoit Dufour, who will serve as New Tales’ COO, Delphine Le Corre (former Blizzard Senior Director EMEA) and Emmanuel Obert (former Blizzard EMEA Director). ).
Blue Silver Studios co-founders Kim Gresko and Ray Gresko join the team as Senior Advisers of Game Development, along with former Overwatch Executive Producer Julia Humphreys.
In 2020, Activision Blizzard closed its Versailles branch, which was previously primarily responsible for marketing, customer support and game localization.
In a recent announcement, New Tales said they plan to use in-house studios to create their own original IPs. In addition, they want to support other development studios in their publications in the form of fair partnerships:
