Last week, Mike Ybarra promised to talk about the future of Blizzard games in the near future. A commitment that has been kept ever since the studio announced as part of a recruitment campaign that a brand new license was in development. But the president of the company does not forget about the existing sagas, which should also be talked about briefly. And to ensure that new information about Warcraft, Diablo IV or Overwatch 2 reaches us quickly.
Coming soon to Diablo?
The President of Blizzard intervened on Twitter. In response to a user who suggested that the company should take better care of the titles that have already been announced, Mike Ybarra wanted to clarify. The studio is fully investing in the future of its licenses and we are “will tell more about Warcraft and Overwatch”
Blizzard is a large studio and we have talented and growing teams that also support live games. You’ll be hearing more about it from Warcraft and Overwatch in the coming weeks. Diablo will follow. Stay tuned!

Blizzard has many projects in development today. outraged DiabloIV, Diablo Immortals and surveillance 2, the studio is therefore working on a brand new license that will take the form of a survival game. This has been in development for over a year and according to Mike Ybarra is already partially playable. But that’s not all, as the teams are also working on the future of World of Warcraft.
Other secret projects
The most well-known MMO is indeed likely to benefit from an unprecedented expansion in the coming months. Two years later shadowlands and its launch sales records, we should have a new adventure by the end of the year. This is carried out by the same team as shadowlands and could therefore revive interest around the game. Also a mobile game project Warcraft
Finally there is one last unannounced game in the drawers. The latter would be entrusted to one of the main designers of Hearthstone without knowing the direction taken. Is it an AAA, a game with lower ambitions, a new universe… all of this remains very mysterious.
It is therefore now necessary to know WHEN Blizzard will decide to reveal these next ones and how. With the expected cancellation of E3, some announcements may be made directly on the studio’s networks. Others will still be set aside for other events, whether it’s Summer Game Fest, The Game Awards…or an Xbox Showcase next year to celebrate the next announced acquisition!
