2K Games and Gearbox Software announce final two courses Little Tina’s Wonderland As part of the major update, an overview of the Multiclass system is detailed.
You can also learn about new characters as well as environments and enemies.
A brand new trailer provides a deeper look at the game, and the third Dev Diary offers more perspective from the development team.
The career system features a multi-class mechanic that lets you mix and match abilities from six character skill trees. Graveborn and Spore Warden round out the classes available at Wonderland’s launch, as previously revealed by Stabbomancer, Brr-Zerker, Spellshot, and Clawbringer.
Graveborn is touched by death and sacrifices health to unleash dark magic attacks and become the Bone Reaper. They use their demi-liches companions and sacrificial active skills against their foes, even at the expense of their own health. Any spell the Graveborn casts will cause the deliches to cast their own spells and trigger the kill ability to summon minions.
Spore Wardens take advantage of nature by summoning tornadoes, and can shoot arcane arrows into enemy lines with poisonous mushroom companions. They are gun and companion specialists, and can use a lot of firepower to boost their companions’ abilities and use frost tornadoes to slow advancing enemies.
With the multi-class system, you can use the power of both classes. When you start the game, you’ll choose a class, and as you progress, you’ll gain access to the Multiclass system and open a secondary class slot. This opens up a ton of different character builds. Each class is defined by a permanent class feat, two active skills, and a skill tree with passive abilities.
Gearbox also provided additional information on two new environments: Crackmast Cover and Drowned Abyss. The former is a haven for the “navy without business”, in other words, a pirate’s paradise. The latter is an area located on the ocean floor, and the broken ship wrecks are littered with enemies such as the coiled queen that resembles a siren.
Finally, a new character was introduced: Bones Miki. This character has a sad backstory. Bones sailed only in the most dangerous waters without crew. He guards the south gate of the saltwater shelf and loves to sing.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be available exclusively through the Epic Games Store on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC on March 25, with additional PC digital storefronts later in 2022.
