WayForward, the independent studio behind Shantae and many other titles with a retro style and cartoon graphics, is going to distribute a work by the 13AM Games team that is attracting a lot of attention from fans of giant monsters. We are going to know the history, designers, release date and consoles to which it will arrive Dawn of the Monsters, the ‘kaiju’ action multiplayer title.

In the year 2036, global warming changes to the planet caused the awakening of huge ‘kaiju’-like creatures called the Nephilim. These giant monsters destroyed the Earth until the organization DAWN (Defense Alliance Worldwide Network) is established to confront them. Using four ‘Guardians’ — Megadon, the living volcano; Ganira, the colossal crustacean; Aegis Prime, the superhuman warrior; and Tempest Galahad, the massive mecha—DAWN prepares to take back the planet.

How will this title be played?

Dawn of the Monsters is a 2D action beat ’em up game. Two players will be able to team up locally in a cooperative mode to overcome the more than 35 missions that make up the story.
