Multiple ratings suggest a next-gen version of Apex Legends will be released soon.
The free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends celebrated its third anniversary a few days ago. Despite a release almost out of nowhere, without a big announcement or marketing campaign, the shooter from the Titanfall universe was able to assert itself in the highly competitive battle royale market and is still successful today.
It looks like the next-gen version of Apex Legends, which was announced at the end of 2020, is in the starting blocks. A PlayStation 5 version recently surfaced in the PSN database and Respawn Entertainment promised that news would be forthcoming.
now are classifications an Apex Legends version for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in Taiwan and Europe, and a ESRB rating popped up. Another sign of a possible release of the next-gen version soon.
