Steel gladiators enter the arena of Crossout. A new Battle Pass season starts.
Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce the release of the Steel Gladiators content update for the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout. The game has been updated with a new limited-time competitive mode, Arena, and the new Battle Pass season has begun, bringing new weapons and vehicle parts to Crossout.
Arena features fast and furious 3v3 battles in special compact arenas where a team must win three rounds to claim victory. At the start of each new round, players can change armored vehicles to adapt to enemy tactics.
There are two versions of Arena: Standard and Scoring. In the latter, players climb the leaderboards with each win and can move up to a higher league. For reaching the “Golden”, “Silver” and “Bronze” leagues, players will receive corresponding backgrounds and emblems for profile customization, as well as other special rewards. Arena mode is available until March 20th.
The new Steel Gladiators Battle Pass season offers players the opportunity to unlock 54 rewards. There are cool new vehicle parts, such as the Adron cabin, which was originally intended for space shuttles but has proven very useful for armored vehicles in the post-apocalyptic world.
The most interesting new weapon system is probably the SD-15 Vulture sabotage drone. After being shot down in a certain area, the drone will hover in the air and activate its own invisibility module. When an enemy appears nearby, the Vulture will latch on to its vital parts to destroy them, then explode.
Finally, Crossout introduces a new relic weapon, the brutal Ripper disc launcher. It fires circular saw blades that temporarily lodge in surrounding objects, dealing increased impact damage. This is good for setting traps! Like all other relic weapons, the Ripper can only be crafted at the Engineers’ Secret Workshop workbench.
