Sports games were more widespread on the Wii, thanks to trendsetter Wii Sports. It took a while on the Switch, but shortly after the announcement of Nintendo Switch Sports comes Let’s Get Fit! now a direct competitor on the scene.
In contrast to the more playful Nintendo Switch Sports, which, due to the lack of a balance board, does without more classic sporting exercises compared to the Wii, the now announced Let’s Get Fit! more of an approach like this. Whether squats in the living room or yoga in the kitchen – you’ve come to the right place if you want to get seriously active in your own four walls. And this is perhaps more important than ever since the beginning of the pandemic!
Let’s Get Fit! is in the works at Voxler, Ravenscourt, and Exkee, and is coming as a fitness game exclusive to the Switch. The title offers you both ready-made workouts and the possibility to create an infinite number of individual training routines yourself. You can choose from a wide range of exercises, from gentle gymnastics to intensive fitness units. Both full-body workouts and targeted split training are possible; The latter then focus on specific muscle groups.
The Switch’s Joy-Con controllers track your movements. In combination with a set of bands that will be available both with the physical edition of the game and separately, you can get the most out of the exercises.
Various challenges, an online ranking list and an in-game calendar for tracking progress should also provide motivation. There will also be four different trainers, 100 different fitness moves and different training intensities. However, the release date is not fixed for the moment.
