Many players have now reached the end of Dying Light 2 and taken a certain path in the story. If you want to play the other endings and story sections, there is currently no way around having to start a new game.
When asked by a fan on Twitter, however, it was now promised that a New Game Plus mode could be integrated into the game in order to be able to transfer his fully equipped Aiden into a new playthrough. Dying Light 2’s lead designer, Tymon Smektala, did not provide any further details.

Better accessibility and an overhaul to blood and ragdoll physics
Even then, we noticed negatively in the test that there were hardly any accessibility options, which primarily serve to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities. All the better that the lead designer has now confirmed that he will also tackle this construction site in the future. In the same breath he also asks which features the fans would like the most.
Among other things, the community suggested improving the ragdoll physics and some gore effects. Meanwhile, there are already some mods that tackle exactly these problems:
- Vaxis’s Gore Mod ensures that bodies do not disappear as quickly as if by magic.
- Physics Overhaul reworked the ragdoll physics and made opponents go down more realistically.
