After the release was not smooth for all PC configurations, the developers are now working on a series of hotfixes to address the critical issues of Total War: Warhammer 3. Creative Assembly explained on Steam, that the first patch should appear this week. At least that’s the current plan.
Even after that, all signs point to bug fixing and optimization to eliminate crashes and performance problems even with strong systems. However, we will have to wait and see whether they will get all the problems under control or whether this will be a longer undertaking.

Technical troubles for the release

As mentioned at the beginning, the first repair update should arrive this week.
The first hotfix should take care of the following construction sites:
- Fixed some bugs in multiplayer lobbies.
- DirectX errors when using DX12 are also addressed.
- Improving frame rates for gamers with modern Intel processors
The patch is based on previous player feedback, which identified the critical issues that can be fixed relatively quickly.
This only represents the preliminary list of improvements in the upcoming update for Total War: Warhammer 3. Concrete patch notes are to follow as the release of the hotfix approaches.

What’s next?
After the hotfix is before the hotfix: Further technical problems are to be fixed in future updates. It is particularly important for Creative Assembly to test the patches thoroughly in order not to create any new errors in existing game systems.
For this reason there is still no information on dates. But the developers want to solidify the plans step by step in order to eliminate the remaining bugs, stability and performance problems of Total War: Warhammer 3.
