Apple offers a few words of congratulations to the police in a statement about the event in Amsterdam
After the terrible event at an Apple Store in Amsterdam where a robbery led to the taking of a hostage and a police movement to arrest the criminal. Apple gave its statement of facts praise to the Dutch authorities, staff and customers concerned.
The situation that started with a robbery ended with the detention of a person, a kidnapping that lasted a few hours and ended in the release of the hostage and the arrest of the offender which demanded 200 million dollars in cryptocurrencies and a safe exit from the Apple Store.
The stop could be reached due to a small distraction that the kidnapper had while drinking water, the hostage took the opportunity to try to escape and it was then that before the thief tried to flee, the police hit him with a car to hold it down, examine it with a robot to reign bombs and finally stop that.

Our teams and customers acted quickly and showed incredible strength and determination today, and we We are very grateful for the support and care they have shown each other in difficult circumstances “so difficult”.
Fortunately the story ends without any injuries and with the arrest of this person who tried to harm innocent people. Apple has proven to be aware of what happened and will surely take additional measures to prevent a similar incident.
