  • With us you will experience an exciting “Peaky Blinders” theory.
  • As a result, Michael’s wife Gina Gray will rise to become the big villain in Season 6.
  • There are some indications and incidents that speak for this, which we will explain to you below.

The 6th and unfortunately final season of “Peaky Blinders” is approaching with giant strides. The new episodes of the historic gangster series will start on BBC One on February 27, 2022. In the previous 5th season, British fascist Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) provided the main antagonist and adversary of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy). But has the real villain for Season 6 been hiding in the shadows so far?

We explain the exciting “Peaky Blinders” theory to you.

“Peaky Blinders”: That’s why Gina Gray is the real villain in season 6

During Season 5, Gina Gray, played by Queen’s Gambit star ‎Anya Taylor-Joy, makes an appearance on the Peaky Blinders stage. Gina marries Michael Gray (Finn Cole) and in the season finale the couple proposes a business plan to Tommy Shelby – which he rejects and the two are banished from the family.

Aside from that, viewers come to know Gina as a tough, independent woman who knows what she wants and has plenty of natural authority. Gina also seems to have the upper hand in her marriage. It is likely that Michael’s suggestion to restructure the “Peaky Blinders” company actually came from Gina. Because during the presentation, for example, she often interferes to clarify things.

When Tommy then rejects Gina and Michael’s plan, she ominously tells her husband that she is now “Plan B” have to use.

Is there a secret connection between Gina and Oswald Mosley?

Another argument against Oswald Mosley as the main antagonist for season 6 is that the fascist is based on a historical figure. And the real Mosley didn’t die until 1980. While the Netflix series Peaky Blinders doesn’t have to be slavishly attached to historical facts here, if it does it would of course be a rather unsatisfactory ending for the final season, if the main villain doesn’t die in the grand finale.

This simple fact also suggests that Gina is becoming a true villain. But that’s not all.

Already in Season 5, viewers experience that Oswald Mosley always seems to be one step ahead. Someone is probably feeding him information – and that could very well be Gina.

Mosley and Gina also exchange a long, meaningful look during the season 5 ballet visit. This one would be extremely weird if the two “Peaky Blinders” characters didn’t know each other. So presumably they share a common history and they also share a secret connection that won’t be revealed until Season 6.

Consistent with all of these assumptions, Gina actress ‎Anya Taylor-Joy has been officially promoted to the main cast of Peaky Blinders for season 6 (she was just a recurring supporting character in season 5). It remains to be seen whether Gina will really become THE villain of the new episodes. However, there is some evidence that this is the case.
