  • With Google Maps you can not only visit distant cities, but also space.
  • Activate globe and satellite view and scroll all the way out until a menu opens on the left.
  • You can visit the International Space Station or check out planets around.

With Google Maps, you’re probably more likely to look for the shortest routes or use Street View to look around in cities that you haven’t visited yet. But you can also visit space.

Through the virtual journey into space you can not only visit the International Space Station, but also take a closer look at some planets and moons.

All you have to do is open Google Maps and activate the satellite view. Make sure that you also activate the globe view under the menu item “more”.

Then scroll all the way out until you see the globe. Another menu opens on the left and there you can select various moons and also the ISS and visit them.
