In 2021 when the saga Stand out joins the catalog of Microsoft licenses, many fans begin to dream. To dream that Obsidian and Besthesda can work together again and offer a sequel to the excellent Fallout New Vegas Released in 2010. A hope that could also fuel Xbox management, as according to information from Jeff Grubb a new Fallout New Vegas game is on the way!
It’s during his show Grubbsnax that the Venture Beat journalist did in fact share some information in his possession. SAccording to the insider, whose comments are shared by VGCfrom “People started arguing” at a New Vegas 2 developed by Obsidian Entertainment. A project that, if confirmed, would therefore only be in its infancy and could only be visible and playable in a few years. But as Jeff Grubb points out, it’s important that the interest is mutual.
A lot of people at Microsoft think this could work, and there’s a lot of interest.
It must be said that beyond the hopes of the players, the developer wants to make a sequel themselves. Obsidian Entertainment has already talked about this and mentioned this “would be great” make an FAllout: New Vegas 2. A wish that could well come true in the coming years thanks to the merger of Bethesda and Obsidian under the aegis of Microsoft. And of course we would be particularly excited to see the outcome of a new connection between the two companies!
