The financial results of Sega Sammy out, and the company said that sales of its titles "went up expectations" during the third quarter, which is between October and December 2019.

Net gaming revenues increased 26%, but, due to the additional costs involved, profits increased by 43% compared with year after year. Based on these figures, Sega predicts a 34% revenue increase but a 50% decrease in profits for its console gaming business for the financial year ending April 2020.
It's not all wrong, though; while 6.94 million units of "new" games sold in the first nine months of the financial year, 12.9 million units of pre-existing games were changed simultaneously, and Sega noted that its back catalog of titles exceeded expectations this fiscal year.
