Amazon announced its cloud gaming service, Amazon LunaNow available to all customers in the continental US.
The service comes with an expanded game library and new features that allow users to experience the game on supported devices, including PC, Mac, Fire TV, Fire tablets, iOS phones and tablets, Android phones and Chromebooks.
The service launches new gaming channels such as main gaming channel It offers free turn-by-turn games on Luna through a dedicated channel. During March, Prime members can play Devil May Cry 5, Observer: System Redux, Phogs, Flashback, and from March 8-14, Immortals Fenyx Rising.
and retro channel Featuring classic games from publishers like Capcom and SNK. Subscribers can play Street Fighter 2 – Hyper Fighting, Metal Slug 3, Castlevania Anniversary Collection and more for fan favorites for $4.99 per month.
More games are available through other game channel subscriptions such as Luna+ It offers more than 100 titles. Titles include Ghostrunner, Team Sonic Racing and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
and Ubisoft+ Channels Get access to new releases from the company, such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and The Rise of Fenix Immortal. The Ubisoft+ channel costs $17.99 per month.
Then, there is home channel Featuring a selection of games for all ages, including Monster Truck Championship, Heaven Ho and Sponge Bob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
Luna also has Jackbox Gaming Channel, it’s the only place where you can play all eight of Jackbox Games’ party packs with a single subscription. These games include Quiplash, You Don’t Know Jack, Drawful and Trivia Murder Party. These games support Luna Couch, a feature that lets you invite others to join a multiplayer session instantly, even if they don’t have a Luna subscription. The Jackbox Gaming Channel costs $4.99 per month.
New features coming to Luna include live streaming to Twitch and the Luna phone controller.
With the Twitch integration, you can start broadcasting with just a few clicks. With the latest Luna update on PC, Mac, and Fire TV, a new broadcast button lets you live stream the game through the camera overlay on the screen. With Fire TV devices, just use the QR code to connect your phone as a webcam and microphone.
The Luna Phone Controller allows users to try out Luna on Fire TV using their iPhone or Android phone as a controller through the Luna Controller app. Available for free download on the iOS and Android app stores. On-screen controllers are an option for new players or casual gamers who don’t have a controller but want to see what games are on offer.
Starting April 1st, a new Luna+ subscription will cost $9.99 per month, and the Family Channel will cost $5.99 per month. Existing Early Access customers and those who signed up for Luna+ or Home Channel before March 31 can lock in Founders pricing and keep Luna+ at $5.99 per month and Home Channel at $2.99 per month for as long as they subscribe Maintain good standing.
