Roller Champions has received its rating from the ESRB after a two-year delay and appears to be close to release.
Ubisoft first announced Roller Champions for 2020. After twice being postponed, the release finally seems to be getting closer. There are several indicators that a game is about to be released, such as pre-orders, going gold or, in this case, being rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, or ESRB for short.
Roller Champions is a free-to-play multiplayer sports game. The player tries to score points on roller skates or inline skates in a team by throwing a ball through a ring. Hints in the classification indicate that there will be loot boxes, as you already know from other free-to-play titles.
Less than a year ago, Ubisoft said that Roller Champions should be released before April 2022, this statement has never been specified. With this deadline pressure, news should not be long in coming. As always, we’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s anything new.
