There’s no doubt that the latest games in Capcom’s ‘zombie slayer’ saga have some of the most spectacular graphics of the last generation of consoles. Can you imagine how they would look in the new one? They won’t have to use their imaginations much longer. Capcom announced that Resident Evil 7 and the ‘remakes’ of Resident Evil 2 and 3 will receive improved versions for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
Capcom has already shown a lot of talent to bring games from the last generation of consoles to the current one, even if they already look amazing. At the end of 2020 he surprised us with Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition
Something very positive is that the current owners of Resident Evil 7 and the ‘remakes’ of Resident Evil 2 and 3 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be eligible for a free digital upgrade on PS5 and Series X|S. Capcon didn’t specify what it means by “eligibles,” but they are most likely those who bought the game and not those who got them through services like PS Plus and Game Pass. We’ll have to wait to be sure.
The announcement also does not clarify what will be the improvements that the games will have. Apart from the obvious graphical improvement, we expect them to include all of their DLC, new game modes, characters, and surprises.
What is the release date of the upgraded versions of Resident Evil
para PS5, Xbox Series X|S y PC?
Capcom did not give a specific date for the release, but said that they will arrive at the end of the year 2022.
