Xiaomi’s quantizer wristbands have all become bestsellers on their own merits, for offering good features and great battery life at really low prices. And each new generation has risen to the top of the annual podium, which is likely to happen again when the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 (unless Xiaomi decides, here too, to remove the Mi surname).
From this future Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 we are already starting to receive more or less frequent leaks, which clearly indicates that its launch may be more or less close in time. If Xiaomi decides not to decide to extend the period between versions, of course, although the Mi Smart Band 6 was presented in March. The last that comes to us about the seventh generation of Xiaomi quantizer bracelets tells us about its screen and other features.
More screen, GPS and more
On board the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 (or Mi Band 6) was the best screen to date on the brand’s devices. No dimensions have leaked, too bad, because we could get an idea of the ratio of the future Xiaomi bracelet.
In addition to this increase in screen, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 would arrive with AOD (Always on Display) support to display the clock permanently (and perhaps other notices) and we would also have a GPS added to the rest of the wristband sensors. Recall that the Mi Smart Band 6 already integrated GPS support in its software but it was ultimately not included among its features.
Finally, the Mi Smart Band 7 would have a smart alarm which should wake us up at the right time in our sleep phase, about 30 minutes before the alarm we set. This means that the bracelet would analyze our sleep and choose the best time to wake up and thus get rid of the feeling of drowsiness when waking up. And yes, we would have a new power saving mode.
