Did you think Apple wasn’t going to have anything for this weekend? pre-keynote? Cupertino’s catalog of series and films continues to grow, both in new episodes this week and in promising content for the future. And what we learned this week is a good example of that.
This week we have season finale of ‘The Afterparty’ as the most striking content, the comedy-intrigue-thriller-mystery-salad of the genres in which we will finally find out who was the person who murdered the singer in his own house.
More crime and more political history for Apple TV+
We can’t stop talking about ‘The Afterparty’, because the series confirmed a second season with Tiffany Haddish reprising the role of Detective Danner. Whether the rest of the cast of actors starred in the big first season remains to be seen, or whether there will be a new crime to solve with completely different people.
Like the new content announcements is the new trailer for ‘slow horses‘, the adaptation of the spy novel of the same name starring Gary Oldman. We will see the operation of a house where MI5 agents (British secret services) who have fallen out of favor for some reason find themselves.
And for future content that is not yet in production, we have another interesting signature: that of Michael Douglas will play Benjamin Franklin. He will do so in a new mini-series in which it looks like he will be seen convincing the Kingdom of France to fund American independence during its early years.
Don’t forget that today you also have new episodes of ‘Servant’, ‘Suspects’ and ‘Separation’ available. With this, fun on this rainy weekend is guaranteed.
