Bandai Namco has issued a warning Eldon Ring Players on PC.
Apparently, in some cases, there is an issue with save data not being properly saved to the Steam cloud.
According to the company, if this happens, you’ll see an error message on game launch stating that your local save file conflicts with the file stored in the Steam cloud.
If this happens, be sure to double-check the last update date and time of each save. You can then choose which saved data to keep and complete the sync.
To load a save file from the cloud, select Download to Local to the right of Cloud Files. To load a local save file, select “Upload to Steam Cloud” to the right of “Local File”. “Cloud files” are saved data uploaded from your local computer at the time and date indicated in the “Last Update” section.
Bandai Namco recommends that you back up your local archive data to another location in case you accidentally overwrite your computer’s local archive data on the old archive data in the cloud due to operational errors.
This issue is currently being processed.
